Deluxe Glow Switch

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Deluxe Glow is the same as the standard glow switch, but with all the leads, croc clip, and tag washer fitted. This makes it ready to use apart from fitting the NiCad of your choice to the Glow switch.

This version of the Glow Switch also has a charge socket fitted which you mount on the fuselage for ease of charging.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

The glow plug wi ll be activated when the control stick is below the "set point" and deactivated when the stick is above it.

SET-UP

Connect the throttle servo to the receiver using a "Y" harness and plug the Slow Driver Unit lead into the spare arm of the "V". Move the throttle stick to the position where you would like the glow plug to activate. (About one eighth throttle is a good starting point.) Press and hold the button until the LED lights up, then release the "Set Point" button to store the set point.

When the throttle stick is on full, the tell-tail LED is dark and the glow plug is of f. As the throttle stick position is reduced to below the set point, the tell-tail LED will glow to indicate that the glow plug is on. The set point can be adjusted at any time by moving the throttle stick to the required position and pressing the button.

SAFETY

Please ensure that the set point button cannot be pressed accidentally while the unit is in use.

WIRING

Connect the glow battery to the Glow Driver Unit following the diagram below. Be sure to observe the correct polarity of the glow battery.
