Servo Tester

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Servo Tester has 3 modes of operation- manual, auto and step.

It produces a precise signal of 1 to 2ms and exact neutral of 1.5ms, ideal for checking servo installations without radio.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

The Servo tester has been designed to allow modellers to test their servo installions without the need to fully install the radio setup.

To use the Servo Tester plug a receiver pack into the socket marked battery on the label and the servo you are checking into socket marked servo.

When the Servo Tester is first powered up it will send out an exact neutral (1.5 MS) this will allow you to set the arm on the servo to centre.

There are 3 modes of operation. To select the different modes just press the plus and minus button together for approximately 1 second and the Servo tester will go to the next mode.

1) Operates the servo from end to end (1 to 2MS) by pressing the plus or the minus button. Hold the button down or blip the buttons to give you discrete amounts of movement, in this mode you can check your linkages for fouling etc.

2) Operates the servo slowly from one end to the other automatically, you can use this mode to test your servo for a noisy feedback pot, (which can happen with servos that do a lot of heavy work.)

3) In step mode, the Servo Tester will send out three exact signal pulses 1.0 MS, 1.5 Ms and 2.00MS ( i.e. left, middle and right) the different pulse lengths can be obtained by quickly pressing the minus button.
